Testing different wall mounted cabinets
Few days ago I was a witness of testing different wall mounted cabinets. I work in a telephone network centre and we are about to equip the new server room so the management decided to test all possible stuff and to choose the best. The company needs about a hundred wall mounted cabinets so they do not want to make a mistake about that. After reselection based on different factors like quality, availability and price the company bought three wall mounted data cabinets and made their own tests to be sure which one is really the best. Those tests were not official. They were unofficial inner test so I will not give any names but will overall discuss the test which was pretty easy. The wall mounted cabinets were produced in different countries one in the USA, one in Australia and the last one in China. They were the best three of a group of ten that were considered at the beginning. All of them were good in quality, availability and price. The last thing to check was their behavior on the walls. The mounting process and durability. The most important thing was how much weight those cabinets can really take mounted using original hardware. The results were shocking. All the cabinets could handle the same weight and you know why? Because those different producers use the same hardware made in China. So our management decided to buy those which were the cheapest because they did not differ in quality at all.
